I will roughly translate this articles which is in Chinese. (see below for Chinese version) Bubble tea brings alot of sweet excitement to our taste buds but it is also very harmful to health.

Milk essence is the main ingredient in bubble tea. Ten cups of fresh milk cannot match the taste of of a teaspoon of milk essence. The main ingredient of milk essence is hygrogenated vegetable oil, a type of transfat. Experts says that a glass of 500ml of bubble tea a day far exceed the allowable limit of transfat for any person. It will lead to heart and blood vessel diseases.

Milk essence gives the bubble tea the fragrance and make it tasty. The fragrance and tastiness derived from a type of chemical. This chemical has trace of arsenic, lead, copper and many harmful minerals. Long term consumption can lead to heart and blood vessel disease, cancer, asthma and other health complications. It reduces the IQ of children. Consuming the black bubbles is equivalent to consuming plastic. Normally these bubbles were made from casava (tapioca) powder. This alone does not give the rubbery texture. To make it more rubbery, millet protein is added. Recently, in a large city in France, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym.

A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern,
Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans.)

They have an active sex life, get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp.

They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs of Polynesia .

Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs.
They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans.

They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.

Mermaids don't exist.

If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis. Fish or human?

They don't have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex?

Just look at them ... where is IT? Therefore, they don't have kids either.
Not to mention, who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?

P..S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver, and a piece of chocolate with my friends.

Women have their own set of challenges when urinating. Most public restrooms are pretty gross, and port-a-potties - let's not even go there. Here are some no-contact peeing tips for when the facilities are less than hygienic - or when there are no facilities.

The Hover

A time-honored position, which no doubt gave birth to the homily "If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seat-ie." Pull down your pants and underwear (being careful not to allow them to come in contact with the rim of the toilet), stand with your feet shoulder width apart, and situate your rear over the bowl. Because of the difficulty of precisely aiming and the variable pattern of the pee stream, this will leave droplets on the seat - which is why you had to hover in the first place - thus continuing the cycle. This pose also tones your quads, glutes, and abs.

The Travel Buddy

A variety of trough-shaped or funnel-like devices have been designed to allow women to urinate standing up. They're intended for camping and traveling, but they're also handy if you can't bring yourself to sit on a filthy toilet seat, or there's a line for the ladies bathroom and you're desperate enough to sneak into the men's. They also allow you to enjoy a heretofore male privilege: taking a casual leak behind a tree or dumpster. Most can be used through your fly - just push your underwear aside and position the device to catch the urine flow, then rinse it off when you're done.

The Squat

The sit-down toilet is a relatively modern invention, and many cultures around the world still prefer to answer nature's call in the squatting position. Climb up on the seat with a foot on either side, balance over the bowl, and let gravity take care of the rest. Don't attempt this while wearing heels.

DIY Urinary Device

The Flying Wallenda
If your erection angles up acutely, pointing at the ceiling, you’re out of luck. Your best bet is to install a trapeze over your toilet so you can hang upside down and let gravity do the rest. Warning: Attempting this maneuver using the shower curtain rod may result in head injury.

Strong Arming

This is the brute force method. If your penis points straight out or up, you may have to bend it to your will. Grasp the shaft or press down on the top gently but firmly so your boner bends downward, pointing toward the bowl. Keep the pressure on and don’t let it slip, or you may end up spraying the wall or squirting yourself in the face. The Lunge

Downward Dog

This position will work for just about anybody, but it is a little difficult to get into, and – if someone walks in on you – potentially kind of embarrassing. Stand facing away from the toilet, with a foot on either side of the bowl. Bend forward at the waist until you’re touching the floor (or the opposing wall, or the tub, depending on your bathroom layout). Adjust your stance so your junk is well inside the bowl - you don't want the pee to run down your front. If you get caught, claim that you like to wake up with a morning yoga workout.

Note: This position may encourage you to take better aim in general, since it will bring you face-to-face with the residue of near-misses and splatters that coat the floor and outer bowl surface.

The Plank
Another one for guys who point straight out or slightly down. Stand a foot or two away from the toilet and lean forward, supporting your weight by putting your hands on the wall above the toilet. Take aim and hold your body rigid. This position also strengthens your abs and core muscles.

The Girly Man
Sometimes you just have to suck it up and sit down to pee. Sit on the john with your legs apart and lean forward so your penis points down into the bowl. You may have to press down on your erection slightly to make sure you don't pee out and down the front of the bowl. And no, sitting down doesn’t make you any less manly, especially if there are extenuating circumstances. What? You say it’s so long you can’t keep it from dragging in the water? Oh, alright then.

Leg Up
It’s not uncommon to have an erection that curves to one side or the other. If yours does this, you’ll need to compensate accordingly. Use the bathroom walls to brace yourself as you balance on one foot and tilt your body until your curve is pointing down toward the toilet bowl. You might want to install a grab bar by the toilet if you do this regularly.

The Superman
If you're a man of steel in the morning, you might as well be a superhero. Tie on the bedsheet for a cape, mount the bowl in a single bound, and make like you're flying. Hopefully the pressure relief will be like Kryptonite for your boner.

To celebrate the new business acquisition, Ah Chong decided to visit a pub in Jalan Imbi, KL and have a glass of wine.
As he sat down enjoying his wine, soon enough, a very beautiful attractive young lady came to his table, asked him something in French (which he did not understand), and motioned toward the chair.

He invited her to sit down. He tried to speak to her in Malay, Mandarin, Tamil & English, but she did not speak or know any of these languages. So, after a couple of minutes of trying to communicate with her, he took a napkin and drew a picture of a wine glass and showed it her. She nodded, and he ordered a glass of wine for her.
After sitting together at the table for a while, he took another napkin, and drew a picture of a plate with food on it, and she nodded. They left the pub and found a quiet cafe that featured a small group playing romantic music. They ordered dinner, after which he took another napkin and drew a picture of a couple dancing. She nodded, and they got up to dance.

They danced until the cafe closed and the band was packing up. Then, after they were back at their table, the young lady took a napkin and drew a picture of a bed. An Chong was spellbound!. He just could not believe it!

YOU have been assigned challenging new projects over the past year. Though your workload is heavy, you are coping well. However, you feel you are not being rewarded adequately for your contributions to the company.

You don’t have to quit your job to find one that pays better, but you do need to speak up. Here’s how you can negotiate successfully for a pay raise:

Do your homework

* Get an idea of your worth. It is important to find out the average salary for the role that you do. Talk to people in your industry and use salary surveys that can be found on job recruitment websites.

However, you also need to keep in mind your performance, level of experience, length of time in your company and the frequency with which you go the extra mile to perform tasks outside your standard job scope.

* Make a list of accomplishments. Remember that the people who decide your salary are concerned with the company’s budget, not your personal budget. They are looking for proven results from you.

Keep a scoreboard that keeps track of the high-value projects you have completed and the results achieved. Or gather sales reports or copies of client testimonials that highlight your outstanding service.

Decide what you want

* Be open about your desired salary. While you can give your boss a number first or let him initiate the salary negotiation, you should have a specific figure in mind. Whether that figure is a 10 per cent increment or an extra week of leave will depend on your boss’ assessment of your performance and current situation.

* Propose alternatives. If your boss or company is unable to meet your desired salary request, prepare an alternative means of compensation. It could be a work-from-home privilege or even a bigger performance-based bonus.

Ask for a meeting

* Time it right. No boss has to give you a raise simply because you want one. A good time to approach your manager is if you have been with the company for a period of time and have not had a raise, your research shows that you are not compensated at a level on par with your colleagues, or if your responsibilities have significantly increased.

Tell your boss you have something important to discuss. Be sensitive to his stress levels and workload, or your requests will be seen as an unwelcome distraction. Arrange a meeting that will enable you to make your case and sell your argument.

Practise

* Practise with a friend. Rehearse your meeting with a friend. Make your case and play out all the possible outcomes.

* Anticipate objections. Think of everything your boss may bring up as a reason not to give you a raise. For instance, this is not the right time or the budget is insufficient. Prepare responses to every possible objection.

Make your pitch

* When to ask. Friday afternoon is normally a good time to ask for a pay rise because it gives your boss time over the weekend to go over your pitch, and to work out how he will justify your salary increment to higher management.

* Stay calm. Do not be emotional in the negotiation. This is a conversation between you and your superior about your proven value to the company. Do not become defensive, get angry, beg or cry.

* Don’t issue an ultimatum. No manager likes to be threatened by “more pay or I quit”. Remember that your goal is to get the raise, not annoy your boss.

* Be professional. Never use personal reasons to justify your request for a pay raise. “I want to buy a brand new car” is not a valid reason. Focus on your professional achievements, and discuss how you can contribute more to your company.

Evaluate the outcome

* Make it official. If you get a pay rise, congratulations! But remember to have your boss or the HR department put it in writing. When does it go into effect? Is it retroactive? If you were given additional benefits or privileges, ensure that they are documented as well.

* Prepare a backup plan. If a pay rise is not in your company’s budget, consider negotiating other benefits, such as a flexible schedule or a bigger performance-based bonus. If these requests are denied, ask your boss what goals need to be achieved to get a future pay raise. Arrange a date for a follow-up meeting to discuss your progress towards these goals.

Scarlet Hotel

On 26 Feb 2010, We (Me and WW) went to Scarlet Hotel to meet Suzana to scout for the venue for the next RME3 event.

Have seen the website (Click on the word "website" to go see) and was impressed with how they presented themselves.

When i called the hotel, they put me to Suzana, the events person and i was even more delighted when she said we can book the place without any cap, we are literally floating with joy!

I like this area alot, but we have to spend a minimum cap of $3000 which i doubt we will hit...

So we went to the "Breeze" area to see!
She said that there was no minimum spending capacity and she can corner off THIS area for free!

So we more or less decided on this place already...

Garage Sale

A bit embarrassing really, but because of my current situation (debts, living expenses, etc.),
there will be a garage sale on Sunday at my place. (If you're going to come, let me know
and I'll e-mail you my address and the directions).

My family and I are finding it a bit difficult with money at the moment. We've therefore
decided to have a garage sale and hopefully we'll make some money. Desperate times call
for desperate measures!! We're sure that we will get out of this mess sooner or later but

Rent for Apartment

A businessman met a beautiful girl and agreed to spend the night

People keep asking me why do i always uglify myself in photos...

Well... That's because i think that its funny and those people that asked have no sense of humor~

I mean, there's nothing wrong with trying to look nice...
But if it takes away the fun, whats the point?
I cannot stand girls that always try to maintain a prim and proper image in everything they do.
I mean, you don't always have to walk/talk/eat like a demure person right? As long as you know what to do when the need for it comes, its more then enough!

Whats the point of putting make up everyday just to look nicer but spoil your complexion?
Worst? When you sweat and the make up runs you look like a ghost...
Even worst? You have some allergy and can't put on make up and you look scary!
Even even worst? You already put on make up and you still look like a ghost!

I don't see whats wrong with uglify-ing myself for the fun of it!
I mean... who cares?
People who knows you already knows your smelly pattern, people that don't know you DON'T know you!
So whats the problem?

As long as you know you can look prim and proper and nice when needed... who cares~

Cinderella Story

Cinderella is now 95 years old.

After a fulfilling life with the now dead prince, she happily sits upon her rocking chair, watching the world go by from her front porch, with a cat named Bob for companionship.

One sunny afternoon out of nowhere, appeared the fairy godmother.

Cinderella said, ‘Fairy Godmother, what are you doing here after all these years?’

Stupid Banks

Received an email from Elaine yesterday saying that we need to submit all the documents required for the visa by tomorrow...

The most troublesome part for applying the visa is that, we needed to get a statement from the bank saying that we have $8000-$10000 to pay for our food and lodging...

Since daddy and mummy are in Tibet, i checked my Maybank account and was super happy to find $10000 in it! Just what i needed.
Went down to Maybank hoping to get a bank statement on the spot. Afterall, what could be so difficult about tying a letter with my name, IC, balance in bank... blah blah...
It could be done within 5 minutes~

I was shocked when they said i cannot get it on the spot and have to wait for 1-2 days for it...
I got a even bigger shock when they said i needed to pay $20 for that stupid statement...

Went to POSB to try my luck... The counter girl said that i can get it on the spot. But i needed to pay $21 something something for it...

Not happy, walked over to UOB to try my luck even though i don't have any account with them. They said that i can have the bank statement on the same day at no charge!

I was very pleased with UOB. Walked back to Maybank and closed my account, withdrawing all the money so that i can open an account with UOB.
Signed up for a debit account...
In the end, i was told that i needed to be with the bank for at least 6 months before i could have a bank statement! @*#%
Super sian half... Just deposited $1000 to maintain that UOB account...

Walked to POSB and deposited my $10000 in there. Then i joined the queue to get my bank statement. They insisted that i cannot get it on the spot and the earliest i could get the financial statement was at 8.30am the following day! @*#%
WTF!!!! Worst was when they said that i just deposited the money and they needed 1 day to process the balance and what i would be getting will only be the amount i originally had with the bank! @*#%
Fucked up! Told the counter girl that i wanted to withdraw $10000 from the bank and go try elsewhere first!

Queued up again at Maybank to re-open an account with them. Super paisei because i just closed the very same account the very same day from the very same girl! @*#%
Used back the same ATM card, but they changed the book.

At least, Maybank didn't say that i am a new account user and have to wait for 6 months before they can issue a statement! @*#%
Bye $20 for a stupid piece of paper!!! @*#%

Really don't understand whats so difficult about writing a letter saying:
This is to certify that Juliana S1234567F has $10000 in her bank as at 21 July 2009.

I used to write these letter for the crew at Stellar and it took me less then 5 minutes... I should have charged them $20 as well!!! @*#%
